My daughter (Chavalia Dunlap Mwamba, Owner of Pink Mahoghany) and I became interested in knowing our blood types about 4 years ago after we discovered the book & app "Eat Right for Your Type" by Dr. Peter D'Adamo. Because everything filters through the blood, we knew there had to be some factual legitimacy to his research and book and we began to start eating by our blood types. Now truth be told, we don't always stay on track with it but we try to incorporate it in our lives as much as possible; it's a disciplined process and I believe healthier lifestyle change for the better. One testament account that I can give is years ago I had a cyst under my left foot that hurt when I would accidently step on something the wrong way. I decided to cut back on red meats (beef and pork), eventually eliminating pork entirely. After I found out my blood type and that all meats were in the "red" for me except for turkey, I began to eliminate beef also. Within about 2-3 years, the cyst was completely gone. But don't get me wrong, I do sometimes eat beef but very very sparingly because it takes 30 days for it to completely digest in your system. So the Blood Type Awareness educational journey is from my own experience, not just something of interest. I hope you'll follow along to make healthier lifestyle changes starting from within also.
